• When we do something for someone else . . . when we live to serve others . . . we live in a blessed state, which is the best life.
  • When you get down to it . . . to be blessed . . .  is to know the activity of God.  Living for self results in a pressure-problem oriented state of being.
  • When we live to give and serve . . . hoping to make a difference . . . we experience the powerful energy of God in us.

Serving others can be simple, like The Red Box.  It’s become an icon in our household . . . hung on the porch . . . with a note, a sticker, a treat or something tucked inside to bless whoever opens the box.

Making a difference is the gift of the day.

When we’re consumed with the stuff . . . when we’re in the difficult places of life . . . we tend to overlook the power of blessing others.

To bless is to participate in the activity of God.  It’s not hard to find a person who needs to blessed.  Acts 20:35 says it’s a blessing to give, underlining the certainty of the outcome of giving of ourselves and serve without reserve.
