At one point or another loss in life is inevitable. Loss often engulfs everything.  One of the gifts of loss is one another.

There’s something so amazing when people will stop and come alongside to walk us through the valley of loss.

If, you’ve experienced loss, then, you understand: The burden of grief is lighter when others come alongside and walk with you.

This is a principle for living the best.  It’s what Jesus described as active and intentional love in John 13:34.

It’s what Jesus meant about being light in the dark world in Matthew 5:14When the love of Christ is released from our heart to others, the light of Christ shines out to people in dark and hard places.

We’re assigned in a specific time and space to make a difference.

Life is fulfilled—it’s at it’s maximum— when we intentionally and purposefully go alongside of others, walking with them in their journey, giving our time and attention to their needs, lightening their load by loving them with the love of Christ and being the light in the dark and hard places.
