It’s Monday With Joshua & Kerrie . . . Hindsight

305

It’s Monday!

Monday is our day to ramp it up and renew an element of living.   We recommend this practice for individuals, couples, and families as well as organizations.  This practice serves who we are and what we do.

This week our conversation is centered on hindsight, a key piece of who we are and what we do.

Hindsight can be described as an understanding of a circumstance or event in the past.  The way we attach ourselves to the stories of our past will either limit us or will be a trajectory to more.  In other words . . .  the accumulation of lessons learned from the past will give us greater perspective and vision for the future . . . if, we choose.

Helen Keller said: “The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.”

Vision is imperative in living our best. This includes the lessons of hindsight.  When you get down to it, the recorded story of Moses reveals the power of hindsight in our life.  His view of his life culminated in his legacy-statement with a vision of more for the next generation:

God goes ahead of you. God is with you right now.  God will not fail you.  God will not leave you.

So.

There’s no need to be intimated or worried.

(See Deuteronomy 31:6-8, The Message).

So.  We are taking time this week to review the past as lessons to learn and format our vision of the future without intimation or worry of all that’s ahead.

Make it a great Monday!
