Doing what we are assigned to do requires grit and determination in our messy, unforgiving world. The thing is . . . when we commit to being fully engaged with our life assignment . . . there’s going to be some challenges along the way.

The effort and energy required to be the best costs but has a payoff.

At the end of the day, doing what is ours to do produces joy, meaning, and fulfillment.

So . . .

We are not assigned to live comfortably but to do whatever it takes to be our best.

1 Corinthians chapter 9, verses 26-27 advises us not to settle but to be “training like a champion athlete.  We are to keep the finish line in sight with a laser focus, determined to cross it as a champion.

So . . .

Take time to audit and analyze where you are at and what you need to do to cross the finish line as a champion.  It’s yours to do.
